The interview process with Epic was refreshingly pleasant. The starting time role of the application process was, naturally, submitting an application which consisted of things similar a resumé. transcripts, etc. Afterwards this, I had a thirty minute telephone interview with pretty standard questions (see beneath). I was and then moved on to the assessments portion of the procedure. The assessments included a personality assessment, a basic aptitude assessment (think Saturday/Act style questions), as well every bit a programming bent test. I believe the above mentioned assessments are standard across all positions in the company. Specific to the role in technical services was a programming cess designed to give insight into how you approach bug. After taking these assessments, I was invited for an on-campus interview. The actual interview portions of my visit consisted of a case written report with a person in the role I was interviewing for as well a standard interview with someone from Hour. Both of these were very laid back compared to other interviews I've had.

I was contacted through a college recruiting site. They contacted me about scheduling a phone interview within two days. The phone interview was really relaxed, mainly explaining the position. Later on completing the process of both assessments provided, which were non extremely challenging and did non crave much previous knowledge of coding, a phone interview is scheduled. The interview is somewhat informal; they ask ii-3 "how would y'all go about this" questions and try to encounter your thought process to work through it. They asked how to solve a problem, which is very general. They and then expanded upon this question, asking how you would begin to solve a problem once you extinguished all your questioning. In one case again, they are merely assessing your though procedure. Overall easy-going interview and the interviewees are very friendly and willingly to work with you.
